Audience: K-12 grade teachers, administrators, specialists, and district leaders
Capacity: 50 participants
Fees: Free for Lane County School District employees
Goals:
  • Discuss Comprehensive Distance Learning (CDL) challenges and strategies to address them, with an emphasis on grading and assessment.
  • Discuss specific strategies to improve your assessment and grading, including: strategies to provide meaningful feedback to students, determining sufficient evidence, and equitable assessment practices.
  • Identify core outcomes of your courses and how to bundle standards.
Description: This workshop is designed for participants who have training or experience with implementing standards-based or proficiency-based grading systems, and are looking for additional training and time to discuss problems of practice with colleagues.
Lunch: No lunch will be provided.
Prerequisites: It is recommended that you attended Workshop #1: Equitable Grading Practices for Distance Learning (Introduction) or that you have other training or a background implementing equitable grading systems.
Notes: All participants will be provided a certificate for PDUs based on the training hours.
