  • Study high-leverage areas of the knowledge base on teaching and apply it to your own work.
  • Examine and experiment with multiple data sources.
  • Define high standards and expectations teaching and learning.
Description: Analyzing Teaching for Student Results (ATSR) enables leaders to zero in on high-leverage teaching strategies that impact student learning. Participants will learn and practice using a common language and concept system, further develop their classroom observation skills, and create results-oriented reports and feedback for teachers that are credible and convincing.
Lunch: No lunch will be provided.
Prerequisites: None
Notes: This course is seven days in length. The first three days will be in person at Lane ESD (assuming COVID restrictions allow it) August 16, 17, and 18 from 8:00AM-2:00PM.

The four remaining days will be virtual and will follow a format of two hours synchronous, followed by two hours asynchronous work, then wrapped up with two hours synchronous time together. Those dates are September 23, October 22, November 15, & December 9.
