Fees: | $45 This workshop is provided by The National Association of School Psychologists and they require this workshop be paid in advance. By registering for this class you are agreeing that you or your district will be paying for this class. There is a 20% cancellation fee. |

Description: |
This workshop addresses critical components necessary for a balanced approach to school safety and crisis preparedness, including emphasis on both physical and psychological safety needed to develop, exercise, and evaluate building safety plans and school-based crisis preparedness/response. Includes updated research and strategies to make a clear connection between ongoing crisis prevention, mitigation, protection and response. Attendees will improve skills for improving school climate, student resilience, and crisis response capabilities of school personnel. School safety teams, care teams, or crisis teams are encouraged to attend together. Registration closes March 12th. |
