Goals:
  • Increase their mathematics content knowledge, emphasizing the progression of student understanding within and between the domains of Common Core.
  • Recognize common student misconceptions on important mathematical topics and learn to identify root causes and potential responses.
  • Plan relevant instruction to support students' conceptual understanding to develop procedural fluency.
Description:

This three-day intensive math professional development is perfect for any elementary teacher interested in diving deeply into the progression of mathematics from kinder through 5th grade. Come learn in a hands-on and collaborative training that has received high praise from over 150 past participants and filled up for five years running.

Lunch: No lunch will be provided.
Prerequisites: None
Notes: Participants have the opportunity to earn 1 University of Oregon credit at a reduced rate.
