Consistency of Implementation: An Advanced Workshop on Evidence Based Strategies Used in the STAR Program (Arick, Loos, Falco and Krug 2015)

Presenter: STAR Autism Support Team
Audience: Preschool, elementary, or middle school staff currently implementing evidence-based practices using the STAR Curriculum with students.
Capacity: 60 participants

A review of substantive improvements and updates to lesson plans, procedures, and forms (examples of Version 2 data forms provided).


Participants will receive consistency of implementation training on the following instructional strategies: Teaching functional routines, pivotal response training, discrete trial training, and the use of positive behavior intervention and supports as used in the STAR Program. Initial and on-going assessment of student skills using the STAR Student Learning Profile will also be addressed.

Lunch: Lunch will not be provided.
Prerequisites: Participants should have already attended a two-day workshop on the STAR Program or have had extensive experience implementing the program.

All participants will be provided a certificate for PDUs based on the training hours.
