Goals:
  • Experience 3rd-5th grade integrated instruction
  • Learn about resources at Lane ESD that you can use to support teaching hands-on integrated units in your classroom. We will discuss our STEM equipment checkout and provide opportunities to look at STEM kits and equipment for teaching integrated units in a 3rd-5th grade classroom.
  • Explore other 3rd-5th grade units, assessments, and curriculum that meet the vision of the NGSS.
Description: Engage in exciting 3rd-5th grade units that weave together NGSS science, engineering, math, and ELA standards while using culturally-relevant teaching.
Lunch: No lunch will be provided.
Prerequisites: None
Notes: All participants will be provided a certificate for PDUs based on the training hours.
