Goals:
  • Participate in engaging Project WILD NGSS aligned lessons.
  • Develop skills for implementing the NGSS in your classroom.
Description:

In this workshop we will model sample lessons and activities from the 2018 Project WILD guide that teachers can take and use in their classrooms. Additionally, teachers will receive specific training for making the instructional shifts called for in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Visit Project Wild for more information.

Lunch: Lunch will not be provided.
Prerequisites: Must be a current K-12 classroom teacher in Lane County
Notes:

All teachers will receive a free Project WILD guide! Dress casually and ready for movement.

All participants will be provided a certificate for PDUs based on the training hours.
