Goals:	Provide an overview on formative assessments in the context of the Common Core State Standards. Provide opportunity to develop formative assessments and use in data teams. Provide opportunity to use formative assessment for improving instruction.
Description:	Please bring a laptop, unit plans and standards you have been using for which you would like to develop formative assessments and any other materials you would use for reference while planning for instruction.
Prerequisites:	None.
Lunch Provided?	Lunch will be provided.
Notes:	The content of this workshop is in alignment with and will provide opportunities to operationalize the English Language Arts Common Core State Standards and Essential Skills in Reading and Writing in the context of developing high-quality formative assessments.
