Registration for Lane County Teacher Substitutes

Lane ESD maintains a list of approved substitute teachers on behalf of Lane County school districts, with the exception of Eugene 4J School District. To apply to be a substitute teacher in Eugene 4J go to: www.4j.lane.edu/jobs/jobopportunities

In order to substitute you must have a valid Oregon Teaching License. Oregon teacher licensure requirements are available at Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC).

There are two periods of open registration for the 2011-2012 school year:

August 1, 2011 through October 31, 2011
January 3, 2012 through February 28, 2012

We have modified our registration process to include a brief formal application in order to efficiently meet the requirements outlined in HB 2062 related to sexual conduct.

The process for fall renewal is currently under review. Please check back at a later time.

After receipt of the required materials, individuals are placed on the approved list. The list is distributed to Lane County districts three times a year; generally, in September, December and March.
