School Improvement
School Improvement's services focus on improving student readiness to learn, instruction for student achievement, creating safe schools, and preparing students for post-high school opportunities. We provide these services in three ways:
Professional Development
Examples include: on-going teacher cadres, workshops and training events, summer institutes, annual administrator and new teacher academies.
Technical Assistance
Examples include: facilitating teacher in-service training through data-informed decision making, teaching support, school/district improvement planning (CIP), school-wide prevention and intervention programs, and assistance meeting federal and state requirements.
Direct Student Services
Examples include: after school and summer programs, youth leadership groups, Lane County Spelling Contest, model lessons, outdoor education, etc.
