Professional Library Services

The Professional Library comprises a number of collections which include:

• Library – Made up of nearly 7,000 titles on the topics of school improvement, teaching methods, curriculum support and general education.
• Journals – Access to many education-related periodicals.
• State Adopted Textbooks (Instructional Materials) – Materials adopted by the Oregon Department of Education. For more information about state-adopted textbooks, go to http://www.ode.state.or.us/search/results/?id=92.
• Research Services – Our staff can help guide you when looking for education-related information and research.

Most materials are in circulation. Items in the Professional Library can be found in the Professional Library Catalog; all others can be reserved by contacting the Professional Library directly.

In addition, the Professional Library offers access to online databases through Gale and assistance to schools cataloging and/or automating their collections.
