| DESCRIPTION | Opportunity for outdoor learning in a nearby managed forest. Weyerhaeuser works with an interdisciplinary team of teachers interested in developing their own lesson plans to answer questions they have about managed forests. |

| DESCRIPTION | This is a 6 week, paid summer professional development experience for educators, coordinated through Oregon Forest Research Institute. This program offers curriculum writing workshops and qualifies for continuing professional development credit. There are usually 3-5 positions in the Eugene/Springfield area. |
