Includes sections on the basic concepts of groundwater and wells, an overview of all the regulations and agencies that deal with groundwater in Oregon, specific actions for protecting groundwater from a variety of sources, and a guide for working on groundwater protection projects in your community. |

| The Southern Willamette Valley Groundwater Project |
|

| DESCRIPTION | The valley floor between Eugene and Albany shows signs of groundwater quality impacts from human activity and is being investigated for possible designation as a Groundwater Management Area by DEQ. The Southern Willamette Valley Groundwater Project Web site provides background information and serves as a clearinghouse and networking tool for agency staff, researchers and residents working on the project. |
