Annual Native Tree and Shrub Sale

AUDIENCE General public, landowners
DESCRIPTION We begin taking orders in December and the order pick-up days are at the beginning of February. Order forms can be acquired through our quarterly newsletter, our office, or at various public locations throughout Benton County.

    BSWCD Conservation Technical Program

    AUDIENCE Adults, landowners
    DESCRIPTION This program provides technical assistance to landowners on soil and water resource concerns. Assists in locating funding opportunities and with project implementation. Assists in the development of conservation farm plans.

    Making Ripples

    AUDIENCE Benton County Schools, Grades K-12, neighborhood associations, local businesses, churches, landowners, and other groups
    DESCRIPTION The mission of Making Ripples is to build community for healthy streams in Benton County. We are addressing the need for a single entity to bring together and coordinate the separate local efforts to restore healthy streams. Through the implementation of an adopt-a-stream type program, we hope to foster within residents a sense of responsibility towards local streams. We are also looking to build connections between rural and urban areas to cross jurisdictional boundaries and break down barriers.
